Wordpress  is web software that you can use to create a blog or a  website. It was created in 2003 and it is an open source project. Hundreds of people from around the world are working on it.   WordPress is  free and can be used in a personal homepage to a corporate website without paying anyoune a license fee. Wordpress is also available in applications for your ipod, iphone and ipad.

You can download this program visiting www.wordpress.org. You can use Wordpress for blogging and it have thousands of plugins, widgets, and themes.

Wordpress In 2007  won a Packt Open Source CMS Award and in 2009 WordPress won the best Open Source CMS Award. This is an amazing tool for personal, business and education.

For my Action Research Project, I created a Diigo Group. I will be adding my critical friends that will be helping me during my ARP.  This group will help me in my research.  This application is a good tool for education and for social groups.
